Planning: 60 Second Pitch

I will be producing a music video to the song ‘She’s Casual’ by a British up and coming band called ‘The Hunna’.
The main focus on the video is the love life of a teenage boy who is of the same age as the target audience. We will follow him through a struggle of uncontrollable alcohol issues and drug addictions that have been caused by the heartbreak of relationships which haven’t gone the way he intended to. The use of editing will be used to show how as hard as he may try, he can’t run away from his new found love to his drink and other substances. Flash backs of other girls faces will appear throughout the video to remind him of what he had but the substance abuse will be sure to ruin any joyful memories he may have once had with those girls. During the video there will also be faint layers of graffiti covering some shots as this is a common theme which I have identified throughout a few of The Hunna’s previous music videos.
The video will start with the boy lying on the floor with a bottle next to him and will also finish with him in the same state. This will be a good way to introduce the song and end it as both parts of the songs are quite slow and these scenes will fit in nicely with the pace of the song.

Within the video I will have a rose appear in its own shots over the length of the video. The Rose will represent his heart/love and it will start to bleed over the course of the video, whilst also losing its colour and fading into black and white.
